MOUSEHOLE FILMS

Post production begins soon on Ade's latest documentary feature for Mousehole Films. This fascinating history feature explores life at a POW camp during WWII. With contributions from those who lived and worked in the camp, academics, and residents of the neighbouring Perthshire village of Comrie. 

 

         BBC RADIO 4

 

 

Ade's latest writing commission for Radio 4, is a two part adaptation of Alan Carter's novel Prime Cut for  R4's popular Crime Down Under series. Produced in Cardiff by Helen Perry, transmission dates TBA.

A contemporary 45' murder mystery drama series for BBC1 and BBC Worldwide. The Coroner is shot on location in Devon and produced in Birmingham by Sandra MacIver, Series Producer Sam Hill, Executive Producer Will Trotter.

Ade has contributed a chapter to this latest publication by Nick Hern Books of the SURVIVING ACTORS MANUAL. Intended as a simple and useful guide to the everyday business of working as an actor, this new book contains invaluable expert contributions about working in Television, Radio and Theatre.

AWARDS NEWS

January 2016: Louise Ironside won the prestigious Writer's Guild of Great Britain award for Best Episode in a Long-Running TV Series. Ade directed this sad, funny and powerful episode which saw the departure of  one of River City's most well-loved characters, Big Bob. It dealt honestly with issues around weight and self-esteem. 'Last Words' by Philip Ralph, directed by Ade for DOCTORS, was nominated in the Best Single Episode category in the British Soap Awards 2012. The two-hander starring James Larkin and Alexis Peterman explored

 the tortured mind of a forensic pathologist and murderer.

ON AIR

 

Ade has recently completed the abridgements of five mystery stories by the American writer Jaques Futrelle, featuring his most famous character Professor Augustus SFX Van Dusen, also known as 'The Thinking Machine.' Futrelle died on the Titanic.

 

Broadcast on BBC Radio 4Xtra, the stories are Produced by Joanna Green of Greenlit Productions.
